History
Cinco Municipal Utility District No. 7 (the “District”) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, created by legislation passed by of the 69th regular session of the Texas State Legislature on May 24, 1985, and operates pursuant to Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code, as amended. The District consists of approximately 631 acres of land.
The District is located approximately 25 miles west of the central downtown business district of the City of Houston, Texas in Fort Bend County. The District lies wholly within the exclusive extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Houston and within the boundaries of Katy Independent School District. Access to the District is provided by Interstate Highway 10 west to Fry Road, Mason Road and Peek Road, each of which is a major thoroughfare into the Cinco Ranch development. Access is also provided via Interstate Highway 10 west to the Grand Parkway.
Development of the District currently consists of 1,223 single-family residential lots, an approximate 4 acre recreation center and approximately 51 acres where three public schools have been constructed. As of December 1, 2009, there were 1,220 active single-family connections in the District and 3 vacant developed lots. In addition, schools and approximately 17 acres of commercial development (two small retail centers, two banks a veterinary clinic and a YMCA family center) have been constructed in the District.
Approximately 70 acres in the District are not developable. Homes constructed within the District have a price range of $120,000 to over $500,000 (including the lot).

Board of Directors Elections
The next Directors election is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2030. The District will establish the polling place(s) for the election, which will be provided in the Notice of Election.
Applications for a place on the ballot may be filed from January 16, 2030, to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 15, 2030.
